Al-Mu'minun Ayah 96
ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ   Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter.   [Noble Translation]   Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege.  [Pickthall Translation]
Al-Qasas Ayah 54
أُوْلَئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيَدْرَؤُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ   These will be given their reward twice over, because they are patient, and repel evil with good, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided them.   [Noble Translation]   These will be given their reward twice over, because they are steadfast and repel evil with good, and spend of that wherewith We have provided them,  [Pickthall Translation]
Fussilat Ayah 34
وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ   The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.   [Noble Translation]   The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend.  [Pickthall Translation]
